Hey there,

I'm a Los Angeles based re-recording mixer and sound designer for film, television, advertising, video games, podcasts, audiobooks, and more. Growing up near the ocean in LA county, nature was a big part of my childhood. My love for the sonic stillness of the outdoors was mirrored by my obsessive passion for sound and music. These symbiotic forces continue to inform my perspective on sound's role in story-telling today. Life is dynamic, and our stories reflect that through the lens of our collective voice. My contribution to that voice is in creating an elegant and detailed sound mix, motivated by characters, world-building and story-telling at all times.

Early on in my career, I waited tables and tended bars to fund pursuits in freelance sound design & mixing. During this time I had the privilege of cutting my teeth on many independent films and I developed an early love for collaboration. Rapidly, I adopted the DIY spirit of indie filmmaking and discovered a knack for creative problem solving, often in the face of limited resources and experience. Acknowledging limitations and circumventing them is muscle I exercise often, always keeping an open mind for the best path forward.

Years later I began working at Transported Audio — an audio post production facility based in Burbank, CA. During my time at TA I’ve worked on a wide array of projects across multiple formats. Notable clients include Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Disney+, HGTV, Peacock, VH1, EA, Respawn, Riot Games, and countless independent filmmakers. From Super Bowl commercials, to Emmy award-winning television specials, to Sundance & SXSW selections, and beyond; I’m endlessly grateful for every opportunity to fulfill my role as a collaborator and storyteller.

The emphasis I place on my own technical ability and awareness also extends to the collaborative relationship between myself and the client. In order to achieve a result that is greater than the sum of its parts, I find it imperative to establish and nurture a safe, comfortable and productive mix environment.

Additionally, it's important to balance the analytical brain with a trustworthy gut feeling. Every sound decision is a message to the audience, so careful consideration for how their perception of story and character could be affected should remain top of mind. I love exploring these questions with the client and uncovering what the story calls on us to do.

I currently work at Transported Audio as the Lead Re-Recording Mixer. This role has led to many influential experiences including supervising sound teams, developing custom workflow strategies, and personally working with clients to deliver a mix that is distinct, moving and sublime.
